What also makes this card so valuable isnt the detailed background or even Raging Bolt ex itself it also helps that Raging Bolt ex is one of the best decks in the format, making this Pokemon much more valuable

Much like Vindicate the strength of Counterspell is due to the broad range it has however its effectiveness is entirely based on how you use it

The starter deck has an Aggro/go-wide strategy that uses Reanimation from the discard pile to keep the board filled with plenty of threats to an opponent without really caring about what your opponents deck wants to do

If you buy expensive pokemon cards at trade shows, I recommend bringing this to scan the card

If you've already collected a number of cards in a rental deck before unlocking it, these will already be applied for the deck, so you don't need to worry about pulling them again
