The dress that we have on loan from the museum in Berlin is not the exact dress that featured in that Vogue article, but it is the exact same style, made from the same sort of fabric, and its incredibly rare to actually find little black day dresses from that date in collections

The dress is fully lined with soft breathable rayon fabric, has no zipper and can be slipped on through the head

The base skirt pattern is straight out of Patterns of Fashion, scaled up a little bit to fit me
