The recipe calls for Italian-style crushed red pepper, but I've made it using a number of other forms of heat when I couldn't find crushed red pepper in the mess of my spice pantry

Though some of the quotes raise questions, such as the layers of net to be like feathers(what?!), but at least they give some information on the dress, which is much better than nothing
