With some tom foolery you could just wire in the guts of your USB changer and then mount the port somewhere tricky

If you see burning signs in the lighter it means it may have short-circuited and you need to replace it with a new one

If you have an inch of electrical tape, that is all you need

#7 if the socket got too hot they will short out and melt then it may only be putting out 4v or something and yet not blow the fuse
